The Booster Robotics K1 GEEK is a small-scale, beginner-friendly humanoid robot built for hands-on robotics learning and embodied AI experimentation. It's engineered to be lightweight and easy to use while still offering real technical substance.
For movement, the K1 GEEK can walk in any direction—forward, backward, sideways, and turning—while resisting external disturbances that might knock it off balance. Its motion system includes automatic fall recovery, along with built-in damping and PROTECT modes that safeguard both the robot and the people working with it.
On the sensing side, the robot pairs a stereo depth camera with a 9-axis inertial measurement unit and a circular array of six microphones plus a speaker, giving it awareness of its surroundings along with the ability to both listen and talk. It also ships with a built-in large language model (included free for the first six months), so it can understand and respond to natural language right away. Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet, wireless networking, and support for firmware updates, keeping the platform adaptable as development needs change over time.
Champion Model, Top Choice for Development

Not only is it the champion model of the 2025 RoboCup Soccer "KidSize" category, but it also serves as a powerful assistant for embodied AI education and an essential introductory choice for embodied development!
