We've only had this a few days and so far seems like it is worth it. The age grade for this set is 3-4 years old, but I think that is off and would set it more at around 6 if working on the projects alone. Possibly 5+ for a really smart cookie! The directions are set up like Lego sets, with each page showing one or 2 additions to the build, which is really nice.
